Senate

The senate only contains 100 members, two per state. The people who are in the senate serve a six year term. The leaders are the vice president and the person who has been in the senate the longest which is the president Pro tempore. To be in the senate you have to be older then 30 and be a citizen for at least nine years. They also have to be a legal resident of the state.
